ARTURO MARTINEZ ALL'A.C.S.PERUGIA 1973




Arturo Martinez, titolare della nazionale spagnola veteran, campione del mondo veteran nel 2003 e 5 volte campione di Spagna è un giocatore del Perugia per la stagione 2008-09. Con l'arrivo di uno dei giocatori più solidi del circuito, come il forte giocatore catalano si chiude la campagna acquisti del Perugia arricchita anche del rientro a casa di Fabio Belloni, nell'ultima stagione in prestito alla Ternana Subbuteo.

CREMONA'S PERUGIA WIN THE GP OF ITALY

Massimo Cremona's Perugia won the Gran Prix of Italy held in Rome, when in the final beat newly crowned Italian champions Pisa 2-1.In the group stages Perugia beat easily, Fiamme Azzuri B and Lazio B 4-0 respectively, then in the quarter-final saw off Fiamme Azzuri A 3-1. In the semi-final defeated Sessana 4-0 while in the final beat Pisa 2-1. Cremona was prominent from the quarter final onwards as he played all the three matches without conceding a goal, beating Napolitano 4-0 of Fiamme Azzuri, Ferrante of Sessana 2-0 and a 0-0 draw with Pocheschi of Pisa.With Cremona, there was also Derek Conti who figured for CCT Roma, who managed to reach the quarter final were they lost to Black Rose Roma 1-2.In the group stages, CCT Roma beat Fiamme Azzuri A 2-1 and San Francesco Paola 3-1.Twenty teams took part in the team event. On Sunday, it was the Individual Open Cremona reached also the Semi Final of the competition, loosing to Italy Croatti 2-3. In the group stages, Cremona beat Croce 5-1 and drew with Capellacci 0-0. In the last 32 he thrashed Napolitano 7-0, last 16 he beat Cannichio 5-0, and in the quarter final he beat Guidi 2-0 before loosing the semi final 2-3 in a a ver thight match.On his part Conti, in his group games he beat Napoliano 1-0 and Stellato 4-1, before loosing in the last 32 stage to Capellacci 1-2 on golden goal.Danielle Bertelli beat Croatti in the final 1-0.A total of 72 players took part in the Individual Open.
